FINALLY beat the skunk!

Welp, I headed out to the Housy this morning in search of some stripers once again. Upon arriving I talked to another guy who was just leaving and he didn't have any luck. I said the heck with it, I'll still give it a shot. I began casting my good ol' cotton cordel. Not too long into it I had a nice explosion but the fish did not hook itself. I honestly thought that would be the only action I would get for the day and I was pretty disappointed. I kept casting and WAM, my rod bent and the drag started screaming. It felt like a good fish. After a good fight I finally got it next to me where I was standing in the water. He did managed to hook me good while I was trying to get the hooks out so I had to bring him into the shallows to finish him up. Too bad there weren't any sharks in the water because with the blood dripping from my finger I might've been able to chum some in. Here is the 1st one I caught, he was the bigger fighter and the one that made me bleed. Not as big of a fighter as the first one but still fun none the less. I saw one other guy as I was leaving who harvested one for the dinner table. It was just around keeper size, at least I hope.
