I fished the backside of the Greenwich islands and I had a great time. The bait was thick! The blues were hitting the bunker on top and the stripers were hitting from below. I easily snagged plenty of bunker to chunk and live live with. I also had great success with throwing 7" green with gold bottom colored Albie Snacks. I tried other lures but the Albie snacks were the best. Around noon I moved west, making my way over to Rye; there was a lot of bait around but not much else. It does appear to be that things are moving west. I hope this helps you find the fish!
