New PB in the Surf

Went back out to the sandbar at Remington Wednesday. Low tide was scheduled for 3:54pm. Winds were steady 10mph from the south and southwest. Arrived around 2:30pm.
Played with a number of Rapalas and soft plastics but never had a hit. Decided to switch over to a 3/4 ounce Hurricane jighead to snag bunker. Bunker weren't as thick as they were Tuesday.
First bunker I snagged I let stay out there. Pretty soon, fish on! I was fighting this bluefish with a 7'6" Okuma SST Salmon Spin medium power rod and Penn Sargus 4000 with 10 pound Sufix Tritanium mono. Made sure I already had the drag set. This fish took about 6 long runs. Finally get it to shore after a good battle.

New personal best bluefish from the surf! First time doing live bunker on my own.
For the rest of the evening I only snagged 2 more bunker. One of them got chopped and the other had a fish on before losing the fish.
Things became very quiet by 5:30pm and hit the road around 7pm.
Didn't have a scale or measuring tape with me, but took a 4" Rapala to measure the fish. Ended up being 36 inches. Had a fisherman lift it to feel the weight and he said about 12 pounds.
Beats my older 30" 10 pound gator caught 3 years ago at Penfield Reef.

Nice bluefish! Similar shape to a 9lb I got the other night, long and skinny. These things are gonna be beasts when they fatten up.
A good alternate title for this thread could be Rapala vs. Bunker
