Those with Tica rods...

Have you ever had issues with the ceramic part of the guides cracking/breaking apart?
I've had this 8ft surf rod for about 2 months and this is the 2nd time I've had an issue with these guides. Are they known to easily break? It is actually cutting through my 30lb braid like butter.

Those guides are a little more fragile then others . I've had the exact problem but due to me not being careful with my gear.
