Amos 10/6

Got out on Amos for a few hours yestarday afternoon. I had just got done reading an article by Matt Newman (renown CA big-bass specialist) about swimbait fishing, so that's what I'm throwing,..my first cast while pulling away from the boatlaunch and bam,..I nail a good sized fish!! Unfortunately it turned out to be a pickeral that looked about 5-lbs,...I gave it the quick release at boatside as I was trying to grab it with the boga, so no pic on that one!
No other swimbait action for a while so I switched over to the jig. I ended up with 5 bass total, 3 smaller ones, a 3.75, and 5.5!! :D Here's the biggun:
