farmington river july 4th

got out early on the farmington with a buddy.
started out on a beautiful spot under a bridge near new Britain. stayed there until crazy amounts ofpeople showed up up to celebrate the holiday.
we drove to riverton and fished for trout under the town bridge. didn't catch anything but did have a delicious sausage egg and sandwich at the general store.
drove back to Manchester and managed to catch a nice trout in the hockanum river.
all in all, a great day of scouting for future trips
