Windsor locks canal 7/15 and 7/16

Went out to the canal around midday and caught a few nice bass, all on a watermelon laminate and red senko, the water seemed somewhat shallow. Not sure if its always like that cause it was only my second time being there. I will add a pic and a short gopro clip when I get a chance of the catches. where on the canal? In Windsor locks or up at the damn area? I'm going to hit the canal by the damn on tuesday or wednesday.

Up near the dam , I went there Saturday, Sunday and today, yesterday I caught about 7 or 8 bass, small mouth and largemouth. I rode my bike down a pretty good distance. It doesn't seem to be a lot of shore access, only little nooks and crannies. But the fishing seems to be pretty decent.
