Candlewood 8/3
Message:
I've been at Candlewood the past 3 weeks and it's down a little more each week.
In the spring it was good but it's been kind of tough ever since. I managed two smallies last week and 4 yellow perch. Last week I battled thick fog until 8:45 in the morning. When the sun burned through and I could finally see where I was the fish turned off like a light switch at 8:45am. Today I picked up a smallie about 2 pounds and a yellow perch and then about 6am the wind picked up and the skies opened up and in came the rain. I had an umbrella and tried to wait it out but after a while I headed home at 8:30. I tried to troll in the rain for a while. The weather guys are really off as usual. I hope the fall is a little better. It's still better than a day at work though.
