Wethersfield Res 10/13

Well after reading all the small pond reports I decided to pickup a jon boat and use that for the small ponds and carry in locations. I went to Wethersfield Res (5 miles up the road from my house) this past Saturday with my son and the wind was blowing well but not to bad. What a difference fishing from the jon boat compared to the Skeeter.. Well we fished the north shoreline over by the tall grass and the pads. I was using my new favorite creature bait and my son was throwing a tube. In the hour we spent there I caught a 3lb and a 2lb, my son caught a 1.5lb LMB. It was fun, I think this will be my quick, easy, kill an hour or two location. Thanks Bass Addict, for the info.. Ron
