Took the kayak out of the Bayberry Lane launch and paddled around Pine Island. Headed over to the bluff, once there dropped some squid on an inexpensive (cheap) Matzuo white spin & glow fluke rig. A few hits on my first drift on an out going tide. Paddled back towards the launch, about half way down the beach did another drift. picked up my first Fluke of te season. Next two drifts , two more fish. Fish measures 17.75, 19.5 and 22.5 inches. Not bad for my first time out this year. All it cost me was my cell phone. Needed a new one anyway.
