Think it will Fit?

Local Seaside fishing buddy recently texted me telling me he's getting a kayak next week and would be happy to get me out a lot. Only thing is he still has to invest in a roof rack.
He said we could easily walk his yak to Seaside Park, but then there's me.
He said he has an older Mercury Grand Marquis. If he were to pick me up, do you think my kayak would be able to fit safely inside his trunk with the backseats down? My kayak is an older discontinued Victory Blast.
