Fish Smell problems

I have found a way to get fish smell off your hands.I am not sure if just any hair conditioner works but ,I have found that washing my hands thoroughly with "Garnier Fructis" hair conditioner eliminates all the fish smell from my hands. I am 100% serious. It comes in a green plastic bottle. I use it everytime i go fishing. I wash my hands with soap then rub the conditioner into my hands for a good minute or 2 and it eliminates all odor. My girlfriend hates the fact i use a bottle of her product every few weeks.
