Off Saybrook Friday
Message:
Friday was such a beautiful day we just had to hit the usual spots off Saybrook & Westbrook. Started off chunking with numerous blues under 10# coming in the boat then switched to togging with green crabs. Got 4 keepers to 18 inches in an hour when the tide slowed letting the wind push us off the hole. We headed off to an East Lyme spot for the incoming when we came accross birds working off Saybrook. Had a blast with 6-8# blues on lite spinning tackle for a while. When we got to the other tog spot we didn't get a single hit on the incoming in spite of hearing of the hoards of people limiting out off the Old Lyme spot. It was 8 pm before we knew it so we headed back to the Balwin launch. Met 2 guys from Mass retrieving at the same time and told them about this site. Good people. What more can you ask for with Nov. right around the corner?
