Sked Savers

Ok Guys,
Who can tell me which Sked savers are the best to use. I contacted Yamaha and they said I might lose some top end speed but other than that it should be ok.
Any one of you have any words of wisdom on sked savers?

I have never used a SKEG protector but i have heard that this one is easy to use and works well.
