5/9/07 Private Pond (Mathies Park) w/ gf

Went to a local private pond with the girlfriend!
The wind was pretty mild (6mph or so).
Blue Skies and 79 degrees.
My gf, Haley, fished with yum dingers (watermelon green w/ red flake).
I fished with an zoom super fluke (arkansas shiner color).
I caught a few really little ones on the soft jerkbait. Then Haley pulls this one out of the water with the yum dinger! It's her PB so far.. she hasn't been fishing too long :wink:

This one went 1lb 8oz.
Then I casted a few times more in the same spot and landed this guy.

He was one oz bigger than Haley's! :D
Haley hooked, but unbuttoned a few more.
All in all, it was a fun few hours of fishing and what a beautiful day!
