Went out to Dog Pond yesterday(Sat.) with Nitrolmic and his brother, we got there just before the sun and had to break our way through the snow bank the plows had made to get to the launch. found an average of 5 inches of ice and about a foot of snow on top. We had a lot of flags during set up and all mourning as well. The action was localized to only a few flags however and we pulled 6 hefty perch all around 8-10 inches, 8 LMB with the biggest being 17,17,and15 inches and we must of had anywhere from 10 to 15 flags with pickerel all decent size. after that action died, only 2 or 3 flags for the next 3 hours so we packed it up after that, sorry no pics, we keep forgetting the camera at home :x next time thou :wink:

Very cool, ive heard thats a good lake to try- bit of a drive from meriden.
