Wolfe Park Monroe yesterday and today
Message:
Got to Wolfe Park yesterday around 530. I was greeted at the launch by a Monroe Police/Park Ranger (fully armed yet his uniform said park ranger) I thought my fishing was over before it started when I couldn't produce my license, but alas I found it. Turns out he and I have mutual friends that I was stationed with in the Coast Guard. Anyway, they just stocked it this week and the trout were splashing like monsters the entire time I was there. I didn't catch a thing however. I showed up today at 345 and the place was packed with fishermen, both on shore and in dinghys. I spoke to several of them, and no one was having luck. I continued that trend until approximately 545 when a very nice lmb hit on my red 3 inch senko. I would post a pic of it, but I don't know how. Nonetheless, I was happy not to strike out 2 days in a row.
