Outgoing 10/4

After getting a call from a local buddy about what he had seen earlier in the day and noticing a low pressure around the area, I decided to hit the beginning of the outgoing and stay til dark at Remington.
Low tide for Bridgeport was scheduled for 5:36pm and arrived at the sandy flats around 12:30pm. Conditions were nice out and perfect for an evening bite. Light southwest winds, calm waters, and mostly cloudy skies were it.
Lures I played around with included silver blue Skitter Pop SP-9, original pearl shad Flat Rap FLR-10, flake blue Max Rap MXR-13, pearl grey shiner FLR-10, Jointed Minnow Stick, shad Shallow Shad Rap SSR-9, and flake purple ghost Max Rap MXR-11.
Lost a fish on the original pearl shad FLR-10, caught 3 sea robins with the pearl grey shiner FLR-10, and caught another sea robin with the SSR-9.
Once the tide got low enough I made my way to the sandbar. Snappers were thick out there and would occasionally see a snapper jump out of the water as if something was chasing it.
Threw a variety of lures, esp the FLR-10, SP-9, and MXR-13, but never got into anything except for what were either snarbors or schoolies occasionally chasing the MXR-13.
Hit the road around 7pm.
