Got my Limit
Message:
Sunday I arrived at the striper spot just before 11am. Setup was the 7'6" Inferno/Fierce 3000. Stuck with a silver blue FLR-10.
It took a while to get a hit, but first hit resulted in landing a 28.5" striper that was a pig! Gave me a few short runs as I battled the fish for no more than 5 minutes.
A few casts later and I hook into a 28"er. It was slender and didn't have much energy.
After those 2 the rest were in the mid and upper teens except for a chunky 25.5" and chunky 22". I love how those energetic schoolies in the mid 20s pull and shake!
Later is when it started getting more raw out making the air feel colder and the bite had stopped so I hit the road just before 3pm.
Kept the chunky 28.5" fish and weighed it when I got home, resulting in my second heaviest CT keeper at 11 pounds 14 ounces, beating last December's 31.5" keeper by just a few.

I clean the fish on my back deck and any scraps I toss over for the feral cats, raccoons, and possums.
