Man pulled from West Haven lake after falling through ice

WEST HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -
Officials in West Haven said a man was rescued from a lake after he fell through the ice on Thursday morning.
Few details have been released, but police said the unidentified 70-year-old man was testing the ice on Phipps Lake to see if it was safe for skating when he fell through.
Police said the man was pulled from the water and is currently being treated for possible hypothermia.
No other information was released.
