Candlewood...

fished Candlewood today (the derby)....tough day....no flags at different depths and no hits on different types of jigs...after 5 hours, I called it quits. One other angler caught a 5.5 lb. trout around 7:30 and only saw one other small bass come in.
Was a great day to be out fishing though...

How thick was the ice in most areas?

that was Squantz pond. Ice is 10" all around thicker in some places. fishing picked up after the tournament when everyone left, but still just panfish. small perch.
