anybody fishing shetucket or quinebag, need your help

Hello all, I'm an angler of all New England Species from Newport, Rhode Island. I have recently learned that Connecticut holds some of the best river fisheries in all of New England. I am drooling over the thoughts of hooking my first Atlantic Salmon and was hoping if anyone could share some insight on the rivers closest to me. I understand the Shetucket was stocked in the fall and mid winter and was curious if with this cold winter, is there any fishable water or is it all frozen? I have fly outfits and spinning outfits strong enough for the battle. Your info, insight, and tips would be greatly appreciated, thank you, hope to see you out there. Take care.

There's a little pull over in Baltic on the Shetucket across from the firehouse. Alot of fly fisherman pull salmon out, but there's a specific season and tackle restriction for that area to my knowledge. Tackle has to be artificial lures with a single barbless hook I believe.
