Connecticut River - Haddam Meadows 03/28

As I mentioned in a couple of other reports, on Friday, NWDarkCloud (aka Bob) and I launched in my boat, The Other Woman, Too, at Haddam Meadows, went down the Connecticut RIver to Salmon Cove, through the channel in Salmon Cove, up Salmon River to almost the first house, down the Connecticut River to Chapman Pond, around the north end of Chapman Pond and back up the Connecticut River to Haddam Meadows. We marked only a handful of solitary fish with the finder all day. We threw spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and fluke jigs in Chapman Pond, and didn't get even a nibble. To anyone who wasted their time in Salmon Cove last weekend, I apologize for the untimely report. :wink:
