They were Aggressive
Message:
Hit Mondo Pond Saturday afternoon starting around 2:30pm. First stop was where I was hitting the crappie like crazy last time.
3 lures I concentrated with were baby bass HJ-6, perch FLR-6, and 3 1/8" Pins Minnow.
I was surprised to not get into any crappie this time, but thought it could have been color and size.
As the day went on I hit most areas and started finding the pickerel to be in an aggressive mode.
Using the Pins Minnow as a slashbait had pickerel going crazy and caught a total of 13 up to 15" 1 pound, with 10 coming on the Pins Minnow. Others came on the FLR-6 and HJ-6.
Also caught 2 crappie on the FLR-6, 1 yellow perch on the HJ-6, 1 bluegill on the HJ-6, and 5 largemouths all under a pound.
Hit the road around 7:30pm
