I was on a ROLL!!!

Hit Mondo Pond Monday afternoon into the evening. Arrived at the first spot just after 1:30pm and fished til just before 7:45pm. Stopped at the Stratford Walmart to get a tennessee shad HJ-6 and also picked up a gold HJ-8.
Played with a number of lures at the first 3 spots and found what the fish were looking for. 3 lures that had fish going were the HJ-6, HJ-8, and a hot pink XR-6. One other lure that I caught the fish of the day with was a silver blade #1 Mepps Dressed Aglia.
As the day went on I decided to stick with the HJ-6. 2 fish that were most active in the mid afternoon were bluegills and pickerel. Bluegills as small as 4" were slamming the HJ-6. Biggest pickerel was an average 15"er just over a pound.
Later in the evening it turned into a crappie and perch bite. Crappie would come shooting up like the pickerel were with their mouths wide open.
Total for the day was 1 pumpkinseed, 5 largemouths, 3 yellow perch, over 10 pickerel, over 10 crappie, and over 10 bluegills. Biggest bass was an average cookie cutter just over a pound. Biggest bluegills were chunky 8"ers. 2 yellows were edible 8". Biggest crappie was 11".
Fish of the day was the pumpkinseed, which was a monster 9" fish. It was the only fish that showed interest in the Mepps.
Fight of the day was the 15" pickerel.
Show of the day was a 13" pickerel constantly jumping.
Retrieve that had the bass, bluegills, and pickerel going crazy was a sharp snap every second and a half with a quick half second pause. The retrieve that had crappie and perch going for later in the evening was more of a light twitch every second and a half with that half second pause.

I've never tried that for crappie anywhere.
How much line down from the bobber and what's the retrieve?
