Quinnipiack RIver/Nells Rock on opening day

Got up to the Q river this morning.
Tried throwing some mepps inline spinners with no luck.
Left there, grabbed my kayak and hit up Nells Rock in Shelton.
It was incredibly windy and there was a fair amount of people shore fishing. I was the only idiot fishing from a yak.
Tried a number of Senkos to no avail.
Hopefully I will have better luck next time out.
