Im looking to pick up a new ultralight rod for trout fishing rivers this spring. Anyone have any good rods I should take a look at?

Quality for the money, I'd say go with an Eagle Claw Powerlight or Fenwick Eagle GT. I have the 5'6" ML Powerlight and have been using it very heavily since March last year. Have landed tons of fish with it from 4" bluegills to a 6 pound 1 ounce largemouth. Excellent lifting power with the IM-7. I have an older 5' L Fenwick Eagle II that I take with me while basically stream trout fishing. Flexible rod and light. Has the power to land some bigger trout, such as a 4 pound rainbow, and have fun with smaller baits and lures while targeting river smallies and panfish.

Check out the new Ugly Stik GX2 Ultra Light. I picked one up at Sports Authority and they are super sensitive, have great strength and at a very fair price. I have about 5 different ultra lights and really like the GX2
