Housatonic river

I've mostly fished the CT River since it is close, but I would like to try the Housatonic river from a boat. Anyone have an first timer advice or would like to go out and show me the ropes. I know PECo fishes it quite a bit, would love his feedback or time!

Hey, Dan,
Let me know if you're free during the week and would like to head down to fish the lower Housy. We could use my boat.
From Cromwell with your boat, you'd probably want to take Route 691 over to Route 84. Remember, you can't trailer a boat on the Merritt Parkway. Only an idiot would do THAT. :D
