Monday afternoon for about 3 hours I hit Mondo Pond. Setup was the Eagle Claw Powerlight/Penn Fierce 2000/Sufix 6 lb Elite mono.
Played around with a few lures when I first arrived and within 10 to 15 minutes caught 3 pickerel. 1 came on the Mondo Pond killer HJ-6 and the others came on a 1/8 ounce brown trout Panther Martin.
As I kept on moving around I never got into anything else.
This marks the slowest day I've had at Mondo since March when the ice was almost gone.
