Hockanum River/Union Pond 5/22/14

Got out of work a little early and drove up to Manchester, where I met a friend at the Hockanum River. The water levels were not too high, but they were moving pretty fast. We were fortunate to catch a clear window from the time we started fishing until 8pm. On my first catch, I caught an 11 inch rainbow on meal work and UL rig. I proceeded to catch 4 rainbows in total, 3 on powerbait trout eggs, 1 on meal worm. When we got done with the Hock we grabbed a bite then headed over to Union Pond, where we got skunked for the few hours we were there.
