I headed back down to Seaside in hopes for that bluefish action again. Arrived at the beach with the 2 piece 7 foot combo right around peek high, which was scheduled for 1:50pm. Tried casting with the SSP-9 and XRW-9 a number of times but nothing ever happened and wasn't seeing any of those splashes like Saturday. Later I went over to Breezy Point hoping the tailors would be there. I threw the SSP-9, XRW-9, and FLR-10. Played walk-the-dog and pencil popper with the XRW-9 and tried doing a number of retrieves with the SP-9. The only thing that happened was what felt like a small fluke hitting the FLR-10. Once it was about 5pm I hit the road.
