Low tide for Black Rock was scheduled for 4:47pm and arrived at the honey hole at 2:15pm, which was earlier than I wanted to be there. Had the 7'6" 2 piece setup and 3 lures I stuck with were XRW-9, SSP-9, and FLR-10. As the tide was still going out I fished for about an hour before giving it a 30 minute break. I saw a boat with 2 people. The boat was slowly trolling and saw them land a small tailor but nothing else. I never got a hit, swirl, or explosion as the tide was going out before I took my break. Started fishing again til the turn of the tide resulting in a small hit on the FLR-10 that seemed to be either a sea robin or snarbor. South winds were originally 10 mph and under but had gotten gusty from 10 to 20 mph causing 1 foot waves and a current starting just after 4pm Headed over to the boat ramp to see what the bunker situation was like. Not too long after getting there and casting for a while, the bunker showed up. I was able to snag one with a jighead and let it stay out there for about a half hour before insects got crazy. Nothing ever touched the live bunker. Last stop was Breezy Point but the southwest winds were pushing a current ashore to go with the incoming tide which was ruining things for the XRW-9. Hit the road around 8:30pm
