Connecticut River Permits

I received a letter from the DEP yesterday letting me know that any "event" on the CT River must now obtain a permit from the USCG. Any "event" that takes place on the River south of the Enfield dam (all tidal areas), has to get this Marine usage permit and mail or fax it in. DEP was nice enough to include the new permit request form in their letter and I've already competed and mailed it in. Just a heads up for anyone who may be running any tourneys on the CTR this year.

It is for tournaments over 50 boats and needs to be submitted 135 days in advance!!!!
