Valley Falls Pond in Vernon

Great brown trout action for my kids at Valley Falls. Yesterday's (hurricane) rain really cooled it down and woke the trout up. I still set the kids up in the shade on the far side of the pond. My kids were learning casting, hook sets, and keeping tension during the fights. They lost a bunch but they still scored three keepers between the two of them. Came home, had a java session with wife, and fired up the smoker - Smoked & Fried chicken legs on the menu today! 8) Enjoy this geowgeous weekend!!!
