Ive got the next few weekdays off. Where to go with the kayak? Im flexible for quite a few weeks this time of year. Looking for suggestions 30-45 mins from cheshire. Thanks!

I had fun at Lilli, today. The new State Boat Launch Facility on Main Street South in Bridgewater is really, really nice. The water is that pale green color we've been seeing at a lot of places. There are no lily pads at all and next to no weeds. Weird. The bite along the shoreline was very good in the pre-dawn hours and the drop shot bite in 15 to 25 feet of water was very good later in the day. 2-1/2 inch Gulp! Minnows worked great. In the full noontime sun, fishing for white perch, black crappie, sunnies and largemouth bass in the huge schools hiding in the shade underneath the bridge next to the ramp was a blast.
