Lake Champlain 09/03

On Tuesday, I drove up to Plattsburgh, NY, with NWDarkcloud (aka Bob), JJay (aka Jason) and TurtleKiss (aka Kira) for a Wednesday charter on Lake Champlain with Captain Mickey Maynard (aka Captain Mick). I've fished with Captain Mick on both Lake Champlain and Lake Okeechobee, and he's a real fisherman's fisherman. We had been hoping to do some jigging for lake trout, but Captain Mick told us that the laker bite was off. Dang it! :? Whatever will we do with ourselves now?!?! :roll: Oh, wait, we're on Lake Champlain! :shock: And Captain Mick knows what to do. . . .
