Skitter Pop 2....Everything Else 0
Message:
Arrived at Seaside around 2:15pm Thursday as tide was coming in. Winds were a 5 to 10 mph west and southwest. Skies were mostly cloudy and air was muggy. Birds were working the same area as Tuesday but never got close enough for everybody and eventually made their way farther out. As I was working my way back to shore on the jetty and it was about a half hour after high tide, I landed 2 schoolies in the mid teens with the mullet SSP-12 by doing the same stop and go retrieve I've been using. 2 usual casters joined me once they saw me handling the first schoolie. They casted their lures as I stuck with the SSP-12 and technique. When I set the hook on the second one and let it back in the water, I was getting attention from them on wanting a Skitter Pop. Eventually made my way down to Breezy Point after sunset but nothing else.
