Winchester/Park Pond?
Message:
Does anybody know if Winchester Lake or Park Pond are still open water or are they covered in ice? I am thinking of taking a trip in my jon boat there this weekend but do not want to get there and find the ponds covered in ice. Thanks

I don't know about the ice conditions up that way, but today I went to Mondo Pond in Milford and found about a third of it covered in very very thin black ice before melting.
Mondo Pond is a weedy pond in a marshland environment right near 95 that has a flow and is no deeper than 10 feet with most areas no deeper than 6. Compare those facts to Park and Winchester.
