Where to go in N.C.??

Planning on a trip and wonder if spring or fall seems to be the best time for lgmouth bass. Not sure where we"er headed for but would like an area that has more than one lake within a half hour drive. Thanks

Many options in NC for bass. I would say Spring would be your best bet for numbers of bass. Within a 1/2 hrs drive may be tough.
There is Lake Wylie, about 15 minutes north of Charlotte. Lake Norman, a very BIG lake, 40 minutes to an hr North of Charlotte. Lake Wateree in SC, 45 minutes south of Lake Wylie, Fishing Creek Res in SC just to name a few.
