Opening Day 2015

Site member BucksnDucks (Ryan) and I hit Great Hollow for about 3 hours Opening Day. I had to start work at 3. As we made our way around the lake, we found an area where freshly stocked trout were stacked. Ryan threw a rainbow trout Kastmaster and brook trout F-5 as he also did some fly fishing. I stuck mostly with the helsinki shad HJ-6. Both of us landed over 10 trout with me getting the better action on the Husky Jerk. Other people using worms and Power Bait weren't doing well. Most trout were browns with a few bows in the mix and Ryan catching a tiger. 1 of my bigger fish was a 13" rainbow just over a pound, which was dinner.
