Twin Brooks 5/17 **PIC ADDED**
Message:
After fishing a few spots on the Pequonnock, I arrive at the main pond at Twin Brooks at 1:30. Got a pair of Cabela's Premium Breathable stocking foot wading pants which arrived Friday. As I threw a number of lures and covered water, I landed a yellow with a brown trout J-7. I then move on to cover more water at different ponds, resulting in 2 cookie cutters each around 1 1/2 pounds, measuring 14" and 15". Both were caught with soft plastics and were males guarding their nest. I checked out the spot where I was hitting the gills last year but they weren't thick yet. Once I got to the end of the larger pond, I then headed over to the funeral home. Caught 2 cookie cutters under a pound on an inline spinner. Also landed 1 yellow and 2 gills on a Strike King Lightning Shad. Hit the road just before 8:30. 14" 1 pound 6 ounce male largemouth guarding the nest [img:1e175f8670]http://i1174.photobucket.com/albums/r614/mvsimko/14%20inch%201%20pound%206%20ounce%20Largemouth%20at%20Twin%20Brooks%205-17-15_zpsqdmuy6d9.jpg[/img:1e175f8670]
