Things are Changing

Tuesday morning and Wednesday afternoon and evening I hit areas of Seaside. Tuesday I arrived just as the tide was heading out and Wednesday I arrived about an hour after dead low.
Both days were very slow with not much bunker in sight. Weeds have started getting thick on the surface making casting hard. Ospreys have become less active too.
Current moon phase is making low tides high and high tides low, which means I'm having trouble getting access to the honey hole.
Wednesday I beat the skunk with a 20"er and only got 1 other swirl. Had to call it a night early due to the stormy skies approaching as winds got gusty. Tide and winds were pushing so many floating weeds in, it was ridiculous!
Tuesday morning I caught 3 up to a chunky 25"er. Got 3 other explosions with 1 of them being huge. Schoolies were feeding on something small around the rocks between Fayerweather and 2A. Certain areas had become weedy on the surface.

Sounds like it's time to down size from the SSP-12 to the SP-9 and start throwing the FLR-10 more often.
