fished from 6:30 to 8 and picked up 4 bass and 1 slime dart. all caught in the weeds at the north end of the lake (no time to anywhere else) with plastics. nothing big and nothing deeper with jigs.

Have you tried throwing any topwaters yet in quiet coves, tree cover, and where weeds are thick just beneath the surface?
