Before heading up to Trumbull I decided to check out the Pequonnock at The Wonderland of Ice, arriving around 2:30. Hit my 3 usual spots and threw a few lures to find redbreasts being the active and aggressive ones. They were smacking smaller and lighter inline spinners. Didn't set the hook on any but landed a dinky bluegill. No bass were in sight and never saw 1 follow.
