PEANUT BUNKA CHOWDA!!!!
Message:
Friday 8/7 was the first time in a while I had been to Seaside. Started walking out to Fayerweather around 6pm. I threw a number of topwaters in many areas of Fayerweather but never got into anything. There was TONS of small bait around that all seemed to be peanut bunker! The only fishing highlight was right at sunset, what seemed to be a combination of smaller blues and stripers started pushing all the bait inshore. I tried throwing topwater right next to the schools but it seemed like the only thing that would have done it was a spoon. The downside of the day was seeing a dead osprey hanging from the nesting area on the Black Rock Lighthouse. Fisherman tells me he got to see the person who shot at those nesting ospreys.
