Returned to the Pequonnock 9/6
Message:
After not getting into much at Twin Brooks, I hit the Pequonnock at the Wonderland of Ice. Water was lower than last time and very stained. The first lure I threw was a custom made pearl white & steel silver 1/7 ounce inline. That right away had small river largemouths going. Once I had caught 5 largemouths and lost 2 on the spinner, fish were no longer interested in it so I threw a yellow perch HJ-6 and pearl grey shiner FLR-6. The HJ-6 landed me 2 largemouths. Kept heading downstream and got into a few more largemouths with the spinner. Checked out the lower tidal section at Glenwood Park and landed another largemouth with the HJ-6. Hit the road around 7:30 Largemouths were all 6 to 8" and had chunky bellies. They were slamming the spinner and HJ-6.
