After getting home from Seaside, I switched gear and got my Cabela's hip waders on and headed for Twin Brooks. Arrived around 3pm. Water has gotten lower on 2 of the ponds and water was still pretty warm. Threw a number of lures and found bluegills and a few bass to be interested in a yellow perch HJ-6 while doing various stop and go retrieves. Lost 3 largemouths and landed 2 gills. At the larger pond I threw a G-Finish Shad Baby Torpedo and varied the retrieve. Had a nice swirl that took the lure underwater at 1 spot and had small bass hitting the lure as I did a constant jerking retrieve in weedy shallow water. Headed for the Wonderland of Ice around 5:30.
