Gator Blues

Thursday I arrive at Seaside right near high tide, which was scheduled for 1:20. A number of usual surfcasters were already there. Winds were a steady 8 to 12 west and southwest with a number of 15 to 20 mph gusts. As the afternoon went on and tide kept going out, blues and birds eventually got active. Total was 2 gators and numerous explosions on a custom wood 2.5 ounce parrot color bottle neck. 1 gator was weighed at 10 pounds 13 ounces.
