Louisianaian in CT // Where to fish

Hey yall,
I'm from Louisiana but I am in Groton for a while. Mainly did bass fishing and ran yoyos in Louisiana. Looking forward to getting to catch some new fish and maybe try ice fishing. Until then me and a couple buddies have been doing some bass fishing. Haven't caught anything worth taking a picture. Do yall know any places to catch some bass around Groton. Sadly I dont have my boat up here either. Hope to get to fish with some of yall at some point
