Arrived at the riverton general store at 6am, got out of my truck and thought that my day was screwed because of the rain.
Met my two buddies in the store, sat down for breakfast and wished for better conditions.
Our wishes were met because we arrived at our spot at 650 and the rain had subsided. The water temp was approximately 55 degrees and the air temp was a mild 49 degrees.
Flows were fairly low but still extremely fishable.
We fished until 1230 pm, and altogether netted a combination of about 14 rainbows and brookies.
Turned out to be an awesome morning.
Cigar smoked.... Gurkha obsidian
Rod/reel combo...cabelas ultralight 5.0 with 6lb fluoro
